I'm just trying to get as close to that kind of functionality that NanDeck offered while gaining the interface, speed, and power of everything else APub offers. I came to APub from a piece of software called NanDeck that was great, but wasn't quite as polished a a little harder to work with, but it did have the fit feature. That much I can understand, but it doesn't stop me from trying since this would be a nice time saver for me Perhaps more purists use APub than not and thus, it's not an important feature for Serif to add. It could be optional, and thus the purists wouldn't have to use it if they don't want to. To do this, check the Show Import Options box (shown below). Optional: You can change the data source import options. If you can’t readily see this, go to the window tab in the header, then utilities and data merge. Open your InDesign document and the Data Merge panel via Window > Utilities > Data Merge > Select Data Source. One person's need might not be the same as others, but I know a host of people who would benefit from this feature. Now it’s time to set up the Data Merge InDesign panel. I think a "fit data to textbox" option for textboxes in Affinity would be useful for data merges. The Merge Textframes settings make this script extremely powerful, but if you want to apply the same settings repeatedly, you had to re-enter/select them each time (or modify the code in the script to default to your preferred settings). Manual Restyling would also work, but as our data sources get larger and larger, it could become unfeasible. I'm not familiar with the exact CSS code necessary, but I agree it would be useful. Read the second row and store in second array and so on. This function can be used to create hundreds of variations upon mailing address labels, employee business cards, and anything else with a predetermined design and variable content. You can have only one data source file selected per target document. 14159 and appears in many math formulas and expressions. Data Merge is a panel in InDesign that allows you to quickly create variations of a document by inserting lines of text and images from a text document or spreadsheet. Before you insert fields into your target document, select a data source in the Data Merge panel. In my case, I'm listing out qualifications for talent I'm trying to promote. The Code 39 specification defines 43 characters, consisting of uppercase letters (A through Z), numeric digits (0 through 9) and a number of special characters (-. Then the circumference (all the way around the circle) is 3. Overflowing text would be fine by me if it weren't for the limited space. Drop Caps and Nested Styles Tab Suppose that you liked the blackoutline that appeared around the yellow text and you wanted this outline for all the titles. First of all, welcome to the Affinity family.
